Progress is being made



I'm almost done with Stage One of the New Rules of Lifting for Women. It's been about a month an a half and I've increased the amount of weight that I can lift. Yay! I may need to get more equipment. Yay?

I've also been experimenting with my diet. I think I've discovered that my body does not like to process starchy carbs in the evening. I've been eating less of them lately and when I do have pasta for dinner I feel jittery. I am trying switching to whole wheat pasta, which I haven't had since I was growing up. I had some for dinner tonight; it was yummy, but still made me jittery. But I'll continue to experiment because it's possible it's a coincidence; it's only been a couple of times. I also did a little extra exercise after eating, so that may help. I might also just need more protein with the pasta.

My weight has pretty much remained the same, but I think my clothes fit slightly differently. I'm still not sure if I'm eating too much, not enough, or the right amount. So I'm going to keep fiddling, eat when I'm hungry, get lots of protein and not worry too much and see what happens over the next month or two.
