It was something that we just did in a rehearsal once without discussing it first, so I asked Thrud, and she says that "for me it represents them acknowledging that they mutually made the epic be something that would be remembered and that each of them would have faded into nothing without the other so they live in stories together." She's also glad you found it powerful.
